ERNiCrMo-4hutumika kwa ajili ya kulehemu aloi ya Inconel C-276 na aloi zingine za nikeli-chromium-molybdenum. Kwa sababu ya kiwango cha juu cha molybdenum, aloi hii hutoa upinzani bora dhidi ya kupasuka kwa kutu na kutu ya mashimo na nyufa.
