ERNiCu-7 hutumika kwa ajili ya kulehemu aloi ya Monel 400 na K-500 kwa kutumia gesi-tungsten-arc, arc ya gesi-metal-arc, na arc iliyozama ndani ya aloi.
ERNiCu-7 hutumika sana katika matumizi ya baharini kwa sababu ya upinzani wake mzuri kwa athari za babuzi za maji ya bahari na maji ya chumvi.
