Sifa ya Aina K ni kwamba ina utendaji mzuri wa kuzuia oksidi, na inapaswa kutumika kila wakati katika angahewa yenye oksidi na isiyo na vioksidishaji. Halijoto ya matumizi ya muda mrefu ni 1000℃ na 1200℃ ya muda mfupi. Ndiyo inayotumika sana kati ya thermocouples zote; (haiwezi kutumika kupunguza angahewa ya gesi).
